Emigration House honored by Architect Magazine by Steven Christensen

Architect Magazine awarded an Honorable Mention to Emigration House in their 2016 Residential Architect Design Awards! This year the jury selected 24 projects across 11 categories for recognition. Check out the full list of winning projects here.

Interior Design Magazine names Emigration House as an Honoree in their Best of Year awards by Steven Christensen

We are excited that Interior Design magazine has selected Emigration House as an Honoree in their annual Best of Year Awards! Thrilled to be included in such an impressive list of architects and designers.

This year, the Best of Year Awards celebrated its 11th Anniversary and had 2,016 entries, from 38 different countries. The December 1st awards ceremony was hosted in Frank Gehry's IAC Building in NYC, where winners were announced live by hosts Cindy Allen, Editor in Chief, and Carol Cisco, Publisher of Interior Design. 

Liepāja Thermal Bath receives American Architecture Prize by Steven Christensen

We are excited to announce we have been awarded an American Architecture Prize for Liepāja Thermal Bath. Heptagon House also received an Honorable Mention from the jury. 

The American Architecture Prize honors designs in the disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture with the goal of advancing the appreciation of architecture worldwide.

Liepaja Thermal Bath and Bandersnatch receive American Architecture Awards by Steven Christensen

We are excited to share the news that Liepaja Thermal Bath and Bandersnatch have received American Architecture Awards! These awards are given by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies for the best new buildings designed and constructed in the U.S.

“America’s most prominent architecture firms have all made the grade and show why the United States architectural talent and ambition is famed around the world,” states Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, President, The Chicago Athenaeum.

An exhibit of awarded projects, entitled New American Architecture, will take place at the Turkish Chamber of Architects in Istanbul and travel to Contemporary Space in Athens. Projects will be included in the forthcoming book, New American Architecture: Global Design + Urbanism XVI, published by Metropolitan Arts Press.

Liepaja Thermal Bath wins Gold and Heptagon House takes Bronze at IDA International Design Awards by Steven Christensen

We're excited to learn that two of our projects have won IDA International Design Awards! Liepaja Thermal Bath has won a Gold Award and Heptagon House a Bronze Award, both in the Conceptual Architecture category. 

"The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate, and promote legendary design visionaries and uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design."

Venafi SLC and Broadway Loft win multiple IIDA Awards by Steven Christensen

Great night at the Intermountain region IIDA awards where we received more of the top "BEST" awards than any other firm, including the top project award of the year! 

Bandersnatch wins AIA NextLA Award by Steven Christensen

Bandersnatch received a Citation Award from the LA chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The award was presented at the AIA's annual awards ceremony, hosted this year at the Aratani Theatre.

Liepaja Thermal Bath wins AZ Award by Steven Christensen

We are thrilled that the Liepaja Thermal Bath has won an AZ Award in the "Best Unbuilt Competition Entry" category! The jury narrowed 720 entries from 43 countries to a shortlist of 66 finalists, before choosing one winner in each of the 19 competition categories. 

According to juror Brendan MacFarlane: "Everyone on the jury was enraptured by what one could experience swimming in this complex. The light conditions alone are absolutely stunning."

Heptagon House wins 2015 Residential Architect Design Award (RADA). by Steven Christensen

We're very excited that Heptagon House was selected for a 2015 RADA Award! The jury handed out nine Design Awards, six Citations and four Honorable Mentions from a pool of nearly 600 candidates nationwide. We're thrilled to be awarded at the highest level and to be in such esteemed company!

Last night's AIA Los Angeles awards ceremony was a fantastic event, and we couldn't be more thrilled that the jury chose to recognize three of our projects (out of a total of twelve projects awarded this year)!

We're very excited to announce Heptagon House is one of only 8 projects selected statewide by the AIA California Council in their 2014 Residential Design Awards Program!
